Avoiding what I have to do before April 15.

This is the week it has to be done. Income taxes, yes, but also the 3-month financial summary for the mission office. Definitely the tasks I leave until the last minute. So, since today is the designated day to start (who knows when I will finish), I am trying to get a few "small" things out of the way first. But really, it is just delaying the inevitable.

Why am I Writing at 11:00 Sunday Morning?

I'm glad this isn't an audio post, or all of you would be laughing. My voice is GONE! It is even worse today than yesterday, and it was pretty hoarse yesterday! I'm not feeling badly, but I do have a cough, so I stayed home today. I'm listening to Danny Brooks on sermonaudio, and I'm planning to clean my room at the same time. Andrew is home with me (he's not really sick, but he does better with Mommy) so I'm not lonely!

I think I'm getting this figured out

Okay. I'm on the right track. Maybe someday I'll really know what I'm doing.

I just made my final order today for Nathan's birthday present. From my parents he is getting a foot stool for use with his guitar, from Mom and Dad Chapman he is getting a case from his MP3 player (thank you!) and from us he is getting his backpack. If there is left over money, he will probably buy some audio books. That's his birthday in a paragraph. We'll let you know how it goes.

Back in the Swing of things

I think I'll start a blog. I have no idea what I'm doing, but since it seems like no one else is using the site anyway, maybe it won't matter. I've already messed up some, and what should be the first post will show up as the third. Oh, well. I'm learning as I go. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how long I keep up with this. Is anyone going to hold me accountable? :-)

Thanks to everyone!

Kristin and I just wanted to say again that we had a great time down in Monterrey. Thanks to the Bixbys and the Tom Chapman Jr.'s for their delightful hospitality. Thanks for the effort you all put forth to make it happen. Thanks to Mom and Dad for their generosity as well, especially in helping us get down there.

We are excited about the prospect of returning to Monterrey in less than a year, Lord willing!

David and Kristin

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Mom and Dad!

This site is (will be) a place where our family can share photos, events, calendars, recipes, and whatever else might be interesting to others in the family. It's a work in progress right now, but David and I hope to have something we can all use shortly.

Thank you for your faithful ministry in our lives and service to our Lord in Chile. May God bless you greatly!
